I wish there was an option for a zero star rating. I have had the washing machine less than two years and I™™ve had so many problems with it, including a system board that has gone out and a belt that is broken and a motor that has dropped out of the washing machine. I™™ve been told the machine it™™s not repairable. I would not recommend buying a GE washing machine.

It sounds like a raccoon trapped in a small box when it starts up , banging and thumping , then anything like a zipper or button or buckle in the load sounds like a que ball and some marbles bouncing around in the hopper. DO NOT do laundry in the morning or night when others are sleeping in the house or they will be awakend by all the racket this stupid machine makes

We have this washer for a few weeks now and we are really happy with it . One of my favorite features is SmartDispense . You can fill it with detergent and the washer automatically uses the right amount for each load , so I do not have to measure detergent every single time . I also love the UltraFresh Vent System because after the wash done , it helps dry out the inside of the washer and keeps moisture and odors from building up . The app is another feature I use a lot . I can control and monitor the washer from my phone , which is so convenient. There are plenty of cycles to choose from , including Normal, Towels , Bulky, Delicates, Cold Wash , Active Wear , Quick Wash and more , plus you can adjust the soil level , temperature, spin , and water settings. I also really like that you can reduce the final spin when needed, so clothes do not come out as tightly pressed together. Now we are seriously thinking about upgrading our dryer too to the matching GE model too , especially because the washer and compatible dryer can communicate and make choosing the right dryer settings easier. It is spacious, easy to use , looks beautiful, and so far has been a great upgrade for our laundry room.

Wow! Who knew a washing machine could be so sophisticated and high tech, but still so easy to use. The ultra fresh system makes sure my clothes are clean, but also make sure that the actual washing machine stays smelling clean and fresh too. The app was pretty easy to get used to, and is a huge feature. Overall capacity is pretty standard, but it™™s good size. It™™s pretty quiet when filling and running, but again pretty average. It will be interesting to see how all of the extras, scent features, and extra components all hold over a few years. So far, outstanding!

The washer is very nice and looks modern. I have it set up in my back patio with my dryer and it works great. It also has lots of tech and allows me to do the loads from my phone which makes us very easy to use. It cleans big loads like nothing and does a great job doing it. Instilation was sort of hard since it weights 200+ lbs but we got it done with the dolly.

Love the GE washers, Hate that we are forced to pay for an extended warranty because these never make it past 4 years without a circuit board failure. I have purchased 4 washers over the past 20 years. Circuit board failed on this one just out of warranty. I have purchased a circuit board online for $200 instead of paying the $700 the repair guy asked for. ALL of the appliances we purchase for our home and flips/rentals are GE. This will probably be the last front load we purchase - will purchase a much simpler washer with top load. IF they are going to make disposable washing machines, I will only pay for a disposable machine. This unit failed 3 years after purchase 2 of those years it was in storage. Disappointed in GE.

This washing machine is amazing. I am impressed by the large font which means I don™™t need my glasses to do laundry. I appreciate the smart hq app which lets me know when laundry is done. There are slots for different detergent options and almost 2x the settings of my old machine. I love the vents that help prevent washer funk so far so good. But my fave feature is how large this is look at how tiny my baseball cap looks inside. I t takes me half the time because I can fit so much clothes. My old machine used to stop because it was about 15 years old. I really love this washer and will be saving up to get a ge dryer. Still a bit of noise but ,inch less than my old machine .

I received this GE Front Load Washer with SmartDispenser from Influenster in exchange for an honest review, and I couldn™™t be happier with it. My husband and I installed it ourselves, and after using it for the first time, I was genuinely impressed. The clothes came out feeling fresh, clean and well- rinsed, and the washer ran much quieter than I expected. The large capacity is perfect for washing bigger loads, which saves both time and energy. One of my favorite features is SmartDispense. Being able to fill the detergent reservoir once and let the washer automatically dispense the right amount each time is incredibly convenient. I also love the UltraFresh vent system, which helps keep the washer fresh and reduces moisture inside the drum after each cycle. It™™s such a thoughtful feature for a front load washer. The touchscreen controls are easy to use, I like having options like quick wash, steam, sanitize, and the SmartHQ app for added convenience. Don't Waste Your Money

I didn't even have this washing machine for 3 full years before it completely broke down. It was used gently, since I am a single woman with no kids. The repair man tried to replace computer parts over 3 visits. The "smart" parts of this machine died. The repair man said this is common with these types of machines. I would never by GE again. I had spent $900 in November of 2023 on this machine. Money down the drain. Now I have to shop for a new machine.

I LOVE the UltraFresh Vent System! After you finish a load, upon closing the door it alerts to start that system. You can start and stop it, I let it go the full time and it took about 8hours. I™™ve been doing it less time if I don™™t do numerous loads, any where from 1 hour to 15mins. I have no wetness or order in the washer. My other favorite thing is the alert that your laundry soap is low, it actually tells you how many loads you have left. The WiFi is such a great bonus, my phone alerts me when cycle is almost, complete, completed and a reminder that clothes are still in there after 30 mins completed!

I love my GE Smart Front Load washer with UltraFresh vent system! The automatic detergent dispenser uses just the right amount to get my laundry clean and fresh. I like the option to create my own favorite preset cycles. The washer does a great job with my bulky king sized comforters and bedding. It is quiet, and spins the clothes nearly dry. The UltraFresh vent system actually works, and it dried the washer between loads. My clothes are thoroughly rinsed, and for really dirty loads I use the extra water option.

Bought this for a laundry room remodel at the end of 2022. Recently the machine seemed to be excessively loud during operation and clothes were often soaking wet at the end of the cycle. Had Docs appliance repair out to diagnose and quote a price for repairs. Bearings are gone, $750 to repair. Brand new is 950ish right now. What a waste. Warranty covers the drum, not the bearings. This is an absolute waste, such poor quality. I thought GE Profile was supposed to be a higher end appliance or at least above bargain basement garbage. This washer cost over $1000 new, definitely not the cheapest option. I do not recommend.

Oh my gosh, I think I'm still dreaming! This is the most beautiful washer I have ever seen! It is a very nice sleek design that looks very high-tech! It has so many nice features and many different options, but comes with a guide explaining how to use everything. Once you've read that, it's nice because you can set it for so many different things. You can also connect it via Bluetooth and use your phone to control the washer. So if you put clothes in it but you don't want the washer to start until later on, you can start it using your phone! The other really cool feature is that you can put all of your detergent in it and it's got a smart dispense so it will release the amount of detergent needed per load so you don't have to keep feeling it every single time you do the wash. The other really nice feature is the venting feature. Our other washer. We always had to leave the door open because of the mold and mildew and the smell it would get it. This one has a venting feature that you can turn on after each wash or at any time as well. And it will prevent everything out of there so that it doesn't collect mold, mildew and nasty smells. There are still so many features that I have yet to try out, but I am so excited to do so! I have never been more excited to do the laundry and my life!! I would highly recommend this to every single person. It is a fantastic washer with many features and a Bluetooth option!!

The washer has a lot of nice features. The auto dispense detergent made each wash more convenient. I can load the washer once with detergent and go a few wash before needing to reload. The washer cleaned my clothes well and the spin dry cycle didn™™t make the washer shake a lot. The large capacity was great for my family, but it may be too large for others. It™™s too early to test the durability of the washer, but it looks and feels well made. A nice feature it has that I like is the vent system. My old washer I had to leave the door open to prevent mold. This one will vent after a wash so I can leave the door closed after a wash. Overall I feel this is a great washer and it came with a lot of features that I wanted that my old washer did not have.

As a busy large family with multiple dogs we are hard on washing machines. It runs constantly and some of the kids run some very large loads. It replaced an 8 year old LG that was starting to worn out and made very loud noises on the spin cycle. To start out with I had to reverse the door swing which took about 20 minutes but was very easy to do with the supplied instructions. This has been a refreshing update pun intended. We love the automatic venting that prevents the musty build up. As well as the automatic detergent dispenser. But perhaps the biggest surprise was the WiFi connected features. Getting notifications when your laundry is nearly done, done or if it sits for 30 minutes without opening. The reminders are incredibly helpful. To keep things progressing or stay on top of kids that forget their laundry. We even like the end of cycle jingle. I would say the noise level is about the same as our LG before it started having issues. No real complaints they™™ve really thought of everything. Taking advantage of all the latest technology without being gimmicky like AI.

Buyer Beware: Repeated Spin Cycle Failures

We purchased this washer in March 2024 and it has been nothing but frustrating. It frequently fails to complete the spin cycle, leaving our clothes soaking wet and covered in soap because it doesn't finish the wash cycle properly. We already had a technician come out and replace the drain pump, costing us over $300, but it has been less than a year since that repair and the exact same problem has returned. After spending so much money on this washer, I should not have to pay another $300 for the same repair. I expected much better reliability and durability from such an expensive appliance. Noisy and Vibrating

The washer does a good job, BUT it is very noisy (spin) and vibrates a lot (shaking floor and fridge on the other side of the wall!). Nice feature is auto detergent dispenser, but missing ability to use a different detergent (e.g. oxy) for pre-wash (no separate compartment). We had a similar before and liked its operation. Btw, we had one delivered by local store that was a lemon with damaged dampers and some other issue that made shaking even worse and was exchanged by GE.

I've had the washer since 6/18/26 and just noticed in the last week around 7/4/26 that it makes a high pitched noise when on spin cycle. Overall I'm happy but I will monitor this noise on the spin cycle.

I only had my wash machine for 22 months and the circuit board pooped out. It is not under warranty and will cost $450-$550 to repair it. I am so disappointed in the quality of this product considering how much I paid for it.

There are a ton of settings and options on this machine. I appreciate the different cycles and washes and how quiet it is. I also like the option to steam. It seems very well built and reliable because it weighs a lot! It doesnt take up anymore space than my past washers. I do not need my washing machine connected to wifi or my phone. It seems we keep getting further and further away from the intended use of basic products and over complicate them! I am a huge advocate for an agitator to wash my clothes though. I can see my clothes all balled up just plopping around. I honestly do not believe front loaders wash better than washers with agitators that are not front loaders. This one is nice but I honestly prefer a basic washer with an agitator and a few technological updates such as a delay timer, extra wash, etc.

I™™ve never been in love with an appliance until now. It™™s a washer/dryer all-in-one, which takes out the extra step of transferring laundry to the dryer. The drum is huge and can fit my king size comforter, so I don™™t have to go to the laundry mat to wash it anymore (hallelujah!!) You also can change the controls from your smart phone via the SmartHQ app. That is going to be a life saver for me when I need to run out of the house and don™™t have time to put the clothes in the dryer. It also has a detergent compartment that you can fill up to 50oz, so you won™™t have to add any more for a good amount of cycles. Lastly, my clothes have never looked so sparkly clean and fresh! This truly can do it all.

This washer is the best washer I have ever owned. It's got lots of space for big loads. You can fill multiple loads of detergent at once and it auto puts it for you. It is a little loud but not too bad. You can leave the door closed between loads and it prevents moisture on its own. So cool for sure. Looks amazing and works great.

I'm really happy with this washer. It has a large capacity, runs quietly, and the towels came out clean, soft, and well spun. The controls are easy to use, and I love the SmartDispense feature because I don't have to measure detergent every time. The UltraFresh Vent System is a great addition, and I like that it's designed to help keep the washer fresh between loads. It feels very well made, looks great, and has made laundry much more convenient. I would definitely recommend it.

Had a chance to do a load of laundry, and so far wow. Very quiet, and within 25 minutes of completion of the load, the plastic front is already dry, without opening the door. The clothes are probably 75% dry, right out of the wash. I had to pause the cycle and change to the load types on the left for the steam function, as I am still learning the ins and outs. Also, appreciate the smart dispenser, filled it up completely, so now I won't have to fill soap again for 35 loads.

Loving this washing machine. It has great technology- you can download an app to start, stop, and monitor your laundry cycles! It also works so well. It has a spot to hold up to 32 loads of laundry soap in it with an automatic dispenser! So high tech! We had previously got rid of our front load washing machines due to odors, but this one has added features to reduce odors normal front loading machines have. It also has antimicrobial technology to reduce bacteria™™s, and a sanitizing feature to reduce other bacteria™™s and allergens. It is quiet, efficient, and works so well. Highly recommend.

I have been very impressed with this washer. it clean clothes thoroughly while being gentle on fabrics. The large capacity easily handled comforters, towels, and family size loads. i also love the UltraFresh Vent System, which helps keep the washer fresh and prevent odors from building up. The machine is quiet during operation, offers plenty of useful wash cycles, and the controls are simple and easy to use. the spin cycle removes a lot water, so clothes come out much drier and dry faster. The smartHQ app is nice bonus for remote monitoring and notifications.

Wow! I love my new washer. It was delivered today and I immediately started doing laundry- we are a family of four with two young kids so it™™s necessary to have a reliable washer that cleans well. I love the app features that can alert you when your loads are done, tells you how many loads you™™ve done and you can even set up your own custom wash cycles. Prior to this washer we had the same brand, top loading washer. While I loved it and it did a good job- I was constantly facing the problem of the washer being unbalanced. I look forward to being able to do one jacket, or one blanket and it not being a problem with this washer. I also love that this uses less water and saves power, overtime it™™ll save us money for sure! I™™m now wanting the matching dryer and want them to be stacked, which is another plus, this washer is stackable with the compatible dryer or they do have pedestals that are also compatible, we have two redials and will put the washer and dryer on them after we redo the flooring. I am hoping the new ventilation detail will prevent the pieces in the door to mildew and smell as I know front load washers are known for this happening. Time will tell. I started having issues with this product in about 14mo of use. It had very little use, washed once a week and sometimes once in two weeks. About 3mo ago I started having issues with the lock. Home warranty repaired it twice already, replaced lock and motherboard and they told me that this washer is known for having this issue. Now it has failed again and I need a permanent solution. I noticed that there are so many recent reviews of people with the exact same problem as myself! We should try to start a class action suit. I hope this review helps someone who is looking for a new washer, stay away from this one! I'm disappointed at GE. You know this is failing, show that you care about your customers and provide quick resolution. I can stick to a brand that cares about their customers and provides prompt support when products fail. But if product and service is bad, you have no choice that go with another brand.

This product should not be purchased. We bought ours a 2.5 years ago and after 1.7 years the board needed to be replaced which cost over $500. 10 months after that the same thing and the board needs to be replaced again for another $500+. We are going through the extended warranty process but so far we will be out over $1K until that process completes. Also the parts from GE take 1.5 weeks to come in so there is the additional expense and time suck of having to go to a laundromat (both times).

Terrible electrical system

After two years of light use of this GE washing machine, the LOCKING MECHANISM has failed. It started with suddenly locking up and not releasing at the end of a cycle. We had to cut the power to get the electrical system to reset before it would release. After that happened, the next couple of loads we washed, the door unlocked but then eventually it quit locking altogether. Now I can™™t use a perfectly good washing machine because of a pointless locking mechanism. Getting assistance to repair will take me several days to weeks and it is summertime and vacation is in three days. My sister had the identical washer. She has teenagers & they broke it within 2 months of purchasing it. This is a bad system & I should not have to wait or spend money to fix it.
