Mixed... We really like the refrigerator...but... after owning it for 5 weeks we started to notice water on the floor in front of it. Since our sink and dishwasher are nearby it took a bit of time to figure out that it was the refrigerator. After checking the water lines no leaking and working with online support they scheduled and sent out a local technician and he quickly found the problem. During manufacturing LG plugged up the freezer drain behind the backwall of the freezer compartment with spray foam insulation. Major manufacturing defect. With a drain opening the condensation filled up in the bottom of the freezer compartment and eventually flowed out onto our floor....in little trickles over time but enough to warp our hardwood floor. The tech drilled the spray foam insulation out of the drain and it is mostly draining correctly now but we are still getting some water buildup in the bottom of the freezer.

Weve had this French door refrigerator for a couple of months and really like. There is so much room 27 cu ft that for two people looks empty. Its nice to have so much room for products. The one aspect I didnt like was the water spigot inside the refrigerator but find that the water comes out very quickly so the door isnt open a long time. I still would have preferred it in the door like my one refrigerator had but can live with this minor setback. I dont like ice in the door so this refrigerator is great that the ice maker is in the freezer portion. All in all we are quite pleased with this LG refrigerator.

I have had this fridge for a month now and am very happy with the design the space and the ease of cleaning the front of it due to the finger print resistance. There is so much room in the door shelves and that allows more organization overall. A gallon of milk and two half gallons sized containers can fit in the bottom door shelf. Its so easy to see everything on the shelves and the freezer is soo big I am very pleased with it. The only slight negative is that the doors have to stick out a little more to clear the pantry and wall on either side of the fridge but that is worth the trade-off to me. Also note that most counter depth fridges are a smidge wider these days but that didnt create a problem for us.

I was stunned by the on paper capacity of this counter depth fridge and man it does not disappoint. Way way more spacious and functional door storage makes this fridge incredible. Its simple. No door ice which is good for reliability. Doesnt have custom humidity for crispers but Im okay with that. The space space space makes up for it

Roomy sleek functional. This fridge is only 3 wider than my old fridge and it can fit so much more I didnt really care for a built in water filter but now I love that I have ice all the time filtered water is out of the way and the filter is easy to change. The interior is very roomy and can fit all of my weekly groceries food prep and left overs. The side door can fit 8 bottles of 1.5 liters bottles each side I dont know how everything fits but Im super happy with my purchase.

The LG French Door LRFLC2706S was bought in November 2023. I like roominess of the interior and the way it is arranged. Decided not to use the ice maker or cold water features. Just turned them off. The stainless steel finish remains relatively print free if your hands are clean and dry the smudging primarily occurs when they are not. There are no children in the house. The fridge operated well until October 2024. Unfortunately in late October of 2024 the fridges interior digital screen showed an error that required repair not troubleshooting. Contacting LG reporting the problem and requesting warranty repair went quickly and smoothly. There was a 10 day wait for service because the local warranty repair company needed to order parts all of which were available. The technician replaced one of the main circuit boards and the condenser fan. He contacted LG before he left and confirmed that a very recent firmware update which he did not have was also needed but he said that the fridge would operate OK until it was installed. He said he would notify his supervisor that another tech visit was necessary to install the firmware. I also sent an e-mail to the service provider asking them to install the firmaware while the fridge was still under warranty. The authorized warranty service provider contacted me the next day and set an appointment for the firmware install on the following day. The fridge is now operating more consistently within specified temperature limits for the fridge and freezer than when it was new.

Nice refrigerator but some problems

I bought this refrigerator about 2 months ago and immediately had a problem with the handle of the freezer door falling off on one side. Also the flap in between the doors didnt open and close. LG sent a technician out to fix the handle successfully but he didnt fix the flap though he said it was fixed. I still need a service call to get it fixed. As a refrigerator it works well and is well laid out for easy use.

Old fridge died so got this one. Its a good fridge for the most part. The water filter is leaving some charcoal in the water but when I called they sent a new one for free. The other problem is the ice in the freezer freezes together into a big ice chunk so I have to completely empty and start over. I like everything else. Lots of room for everything adjustable shelves. The holders in the door are big and store a lot of stuff. The ones at the bottom are hidden and I almost missed them although theyre not good for much except maybe small cans. I also wish there was a separate section for the butter. But overall Im happy with my purchase. I do like the online link for questions and information although sometimes I need help figuring out how to do some things.

We stocked the refrigerator after it got to 38 degrees. The next morning it was 50 degrees. I spent hours trying to determoine the issue. I downloaded the ap and found a fan error. We got little help from the place we purchased the refirgerator nor from LG. We agreed to a swap as the refrigerator is highly rated and have had to wait 10 days for it. That was the day before thanksgiving so all of our plans were changed in the days before the holiday.We bought a mini fridge as the freezer works fine so theres another $200 wasted on top of this experience. I am certain we are an outlier but I certainly cant say go buy an LG

Awesome French door refrigerator

We bought this refrigerator to replace our old one that was 16 years old. This one is so much larger and holds so much more than the old one. We wanted one that dispenses water from the outside of door but no ice and could not fond one. This one dispenses water from the inside which I dont like but the water comes out very quickly which does make me happy. The shelves are deep and moveable and the doors hold a lot more than our old one. The freezer is deep and holds quite a bit of food. The ice is made quickly and we seem to never run out. The ice is in cubes and and fits into a tumbler easily. all in all very happy with this French door refrigerator .

The main reason we bought this refrigerator is the fact it has a counter depth footprint and yet has maximum capacity. We love every aspect of this refrigerator except there are three things that we would have liked to see: 1. This is a major issue for us. When the French doors open all the way they hit objects. The left door hits our pantry knob and the right door hits a small granite countertop. We wish there was a way to adjust how far the doors open lot of the other makes have such a feature 2. More options to adjust shelve heights. We should be able to adjust the left side shelves and the right side shelves independently 3. Poor customer service Not very knowledgeable about product features. They could have told us that the doors cannot be adjusted to limit how far the doors open. Instead they blame it on the installers Costco and asked us to work with them to resolve the issue. Costco made 2 trips only to tell us that they cannot do anything about it and that we should contact LG. We talk to an LG-authorized repair shop name provided by LG customer service and he told us that there is no way to adjust the doors to limit how far they open. The only option is move the fridge away from the wall so the door wont hit objects. This defeats the purpose of having a counter depth fridge since the fridge protrudes into the kitchen area and looks not esthetically pleasing. The Liaison to the presidents office is totally useless in terms of escalation of an issue.

Main board failed three days after plugging the unit in. Of course this ruined all of the food along with the medication that required refrigeration. Repair took almost a month to take place. Never in my life would I imagine spending almost 2k and having it fail in 3 days and then being told it didnt qualify for a return.

For the most part I am very happy with my LG counter depth refrigerator. Weve had a couple of issues however with the icemaker getting jammed and we had to get a replacement cover for the air filter as it was the incorrect one for our model however it was replaced very quickly and with no problem and that was good.

Cannot locate a bypass filter for this model

Only have the fridge a couple days this is left of a review and more of a question for the community or LG to respond. We have reverse osmosis so I have no need for the water filter. In my search for a bypass filter there is nothing mentioned in the manual and the third party company that supports parts and accessories says the bypass filter they have does not fit this model. There has to be a solution for a bypass filter I dont want to buy a new filter in 6 months but also do not want to leave that filter in indefinitely. Does anyone know of a solution here?

We bought an oven and microwave as well and weve not noticed any dents yet. The dents on the fridge are very tiny and not in one place. LG Id like to know why? Stayed Cool During 8-Hour Power Outage

After Hurricane Beryl hit Houston we lost power for 4 days. Deer meat somehow leaked from the freezer and... yeah we had to replace an old Whirlpool fridge that came with the house. As a replacement we bought THIS exact LG fridge from BestBuy. I just confirmed the model number LRFLC2706S. Today we had an 8-hour power outage. We made sure not to open the fridge nor freezer during this time but after the power was restored I opened the freezer and expected to find water in the ice tray and liquid ice cream. To my surprise the ice cubes were still solid Everything in the fridge was fine. Nothing had to be thrown out. I was extremely worried about the cost of having to replace everything in the fridge and freezer. We JUST did that last July for the hurricane. It cost us hundreds... So yeah. This fridge just won me over for a 5-star review. Highly recommended I couldnt be happier. Quality matters.

I give zero. Purchased refrigerator and lines on back of frig sprayed water on wall and floor while admistering water from inside of frig. Ruined our hardwood floors. Lg response is they dont install water lines and are not paying for any damage. But they sell refrigerator with water features?? Ok

Fridge was bought in November 2023. In late October 2024 it produced an error code and was not producing safe consistent temps. It took one week to get service locally. Fan and main circuit board were replaced and anf firmware update applied. So far it is maintaining better safe consistent temps even than when it was brand new. I worry about more poroblems after warranty expires. When working properly I do like the amount of interior space and layout. It is exactly what I need. The stainless stays relatively fingerprint free unless you touch it with wet or dirty hands. It is a nice looking fridge.

Everything in my refrigerator keeps molding/going bad long before the expiration dates. I had someone come look at it and all he did was check the temp leave.

Great capacity for a counter depth.

The capacity of this refrigerator is great. The specs. say you should have 1/4 inch on each side of the refrigerator. My opinion is that you need more. It is very tight and doesnt allow space for air flow around it. We built the refrigerator enclosure based on the specs and wish we had more room. I think LG should update the specs.

I bought this refrigerator less than 3 weeks ago. It works for now BUT... LG puts a clear coating on all of their refrigerator doors and much like spray paint - if you overcoat/overspray the item will not dry evenly. While this is cosmetic its also a red flag for poor quality behind scenes. TODAY I was told by LGs that they would do nothing about this situation because its only cosmetic and doesnt affect the operation of the refrigerator. To that if you buy one of these please look your refrigerator over immediately when you get it while the delivery guys are there and before you sign for it. These refrigerators are also VERY light with regards to weight and cheaply made thin casing. Finally remember to opt out of their arbitration clause within 30 days after delivery or youre stuck with arbitration/mediation if anything goes wrong with the unit and causes damage to your home elsewhere - Im done with LG.

Extremely disappointed. On delivery freezer is cooling to 33F not 0F refrigerator is at 41F versus 36F setting this is four days after delivery. Youd think it would work out of the box but it doesnt. Overall delivery experience has been a nightmare. When you call LG you get a call center in the Philippines and who knows if you can ever get someone to take the concern seriously.

I ordered this fridge along with a new stove. the installers were a nightmare never tested the water left me with no ice or water for 10 days LG kept sending me to the installer installer kept sending me back to LG. No one would help me...I ended up having to call my plumber to verify yes my water line was working and there was water to the fridge. I made the suggestion of unpluging the unit and plugging it back in...once we did that suddenly the water worked. Bottom line my bill from the plumber was $285.00 when all LG had to do was get the installer back to test. LG offered me $50 for my trouble and another year of warranty...I spent over 6-7 hours on the phone with LG and RXO to absolutely deaf ears....I cannot recommend buying from LG.com at all. Absolutely the worst experience. The fridge is nice though.
